 Mom of Heather, Dave, & Margie Mansell, all WCI grads.
Graduated from WLU in 1969, and Althouse Teachers' College in 1970.
Married an Eastwood Grad, Peter Mansell, in 1970 and we have lived in Waterloo all this time. We both started our teaching jobs at Eastwood C.I. in 1970. When Bluevale C.I. opened in 1972, I jumped at the opportunity to be involved in the opening of a new school, just as I had as a student at MacGregor and WCI when they opened. Peter followed me to Bluevale the next year and we stayed there until retirement in 2001. I was pleased to be on staff at WCI for 4 months in 2002 in the Guidance Department.
